Italian journalists and bloggers transmitted a photo of a military convoy standing opposite one of the largest hospitals in Bergamo, in the Lombardy region, in northern Italy.
They said the trucks were transporting 60 coffins for people who died of the Covid-19 virus in one of Italy’s toughest scenes these days.

They added: “Unfortunately, they will take them out of the city to graves in the nearby suburbs … and there the bodies will be cremated … their loved ones will not be able to see them off.”

On Wednesday, the Italian authorities announced that 475 people had died across the country due to the new Coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths in the country to 2,978.
