Ian and Brittani are parents to two lovely girls. They were happy to receive the news they will soon be adding fraternal twins to their brood. Like every pregnant mom, Brittani decides to name her children Mason and Madilyn.
Fate against a Pregnant Mom
However, fate had other plans for Ian and Brittani. With every passing month, the doctors found Madilyn grew to 2 pounds and Mason weighed only 9 ounces. They even found the brain of Mason growing abnormally and there was a hole in Mason’s heart.
Surgery the Only Hope
According to Brittani, Mason’s only hope to survive was getting a heart surgery. However, the doctors aren’t ready to go ahead because of his brain.
The Shocking Sonogram Image
The last sonogram Brittani had captured an unimaginable image of her tiny unborn kids. The image shows Mason holding on to one of Madilyn’s fingers. This striking image has shed a new light of hope for the family. According to Brittani, “I know I’m holding him, I’m carrying him, but I just want to be there for him. And she’s the only one who can actually be there and holding onto him through it, so it’s comforting to know that if he does pass he won’t be alone.”
Hope is All They Have
Mason may not survive the pregnancy; yet, the family remains positive and hopeful. The family says “I know I’m holding him, I’m carrying him, but I just want to be there for him. We too remain hopeful and pray tiny Mason gets the best out of whatever life God has planned for him. As for the pregnant mom, we wish her the best and to remain strong come what may.
